172 Mr. Davern asked the Minister for Justice if the Garda Síochána have investigated the problem of the number of dogs which have been stolen in the Clonmel and Fethard area of County Tipperary; if so, the outcome of such an investigation; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by the Garda authorities that two dogs have been reported stolen from the Fethard area in the past 12 months. Gardaí have carried out extensive searches but the dogs have not been located. No dogs have been reported stolen from the Clonmel area.
