200 Mr. Ryan asked the Minister for the Marine the number of leases and licences issued by his Department to a company (details supplied) in County Dublin for the building of a marina and the dredging of the foreshore; the date of issue in each case; and the duration of each such lease and licence. [18036/96]
One lease for the purpose mentioned was issued to the company concerned under the foreshore Acts. This was issued on 28 June 1993 and runs for 99 years from 20 July 1992.
Two licences under the Dumping at Sea Acts were issued to the same company on 21 December 1995. One was operative from 1 January 1996 to 30 June 1996 and the other was operative from 1 January 1996 to 30 September 1996. Both licences have expired and an application for extensions is being processed. I will let the Deputy know the outcome of the application.
