137 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Justice the number of persons employed by her to deal with press-related matters during the course of Ireland's Presidency of the EU; the total costs associated with such appointments; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [18830/96]

No additional appointments were made by me to deal with press-related matters in connection with the EU Presidency. All such matters are handled by the Department's press office.
