The allocation of budgets for travelling expenses is kept under constant review and while individual allocations may vary from time to time, overall there has been no reduction in relation to fraud investigation in the past few years. Within the overall budget available to my Department for travelling and subsistence expenses the estimated total amount allocated to those involved in fraud investigation since 1994 to date is as follows:
