286 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if a person (details supplied) in County Cork is entitled to an additional milk quota in view of the disease problems in his dairy herd in 1982; if he has applied to the Milk Quota Appeals Tribunal in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19096/96]
The person named was allocated additional quota from a national reserve specifically established in 1984-85 to meet the quota requirements of producers who had animal disease problems which adversely affected their 1983 milk deliveries.
A further application for additional milk quota from the person named was examined by the Milk Quota Appeals Tribunal and an allocation was not recommended.
