305 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications the resources available to him and the Minister(s) of State at his Department for the running of ministerial offices and constituency offices in terms of support services, finance and personnel, established and non-established, programme managers and special advisers; if he will give a breakdown in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19132/96]
The financial resources expended by my Department in the running of the respective offices of the Minister and Minister of State are as set out below. Apart from salaries the other costs include travel and subsistence, incidental expenses, office supplies and consultancies. The Deputy should note that it is not possible to give a definitive account of all the expenditure involved as some costs such as telephone bills, furniture and other sundry items are costed centrally rather than to individual areas.
