71 Mr. B. Ahern asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs the State companies, if any, under the aegis of his Department; the number employed in each such company; and the amount of the State investment in and annual subvention to each, where applicable. [19343/96]
The Agency for Personal Service Overseas is the only registered company which comes under the aegis of the Department of Foreign Affairs. There are 31 staff employed in APSO and funding from the Department's Vote for International Co-operation in 1996 amounts to £10.5 million.
There are no State companies which come under the aegis of the Office of the Tánaiste.
