98 Mr. M. McDowell asked the Minister for Education whether a person (details supplied) was employed in Trinity House at any time during the period prior to 1 January 1990; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [19553/96]
I confirm that the person referred to by the Deputy was never employed in Trinity House school. As I indicated to the Deputy on 25 September 1996 the person in question was employed in a former reformatory school in Lusk, County Dublin, from 1980 to 1985. The school in question was Scoil Ard Mhuire which was closed in 1985.

McDowell asked the Minister for Education whether a person (details supplied) was employed by or discharged from any duties at Finglas Children's Centre, either at the industrial school or the remand and assessment unit, at any time prior to 1 January 1995; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The Finglas Children's Centre has confirmed to my Department that there is no record of the person in question ever having been employed at the centre.
