Written Answers. - Bus Route Alteration.
The family to which the Deputy refers has recently moved address, and the two children have been facilitated with transport to their local school. Bus Éireann has confirmed that this family resides 0.3 of a mile from the route of the existing service.
As this is considered to be a good level of service in the overall context of the scheme, and as extra State cost would be involved in extending the service, the current arrangement is the most that can be offered by my Department.
