165 Mr. N. Treacy asked the Minister for Education if she will immediately sanction an urgently required facility (details supplied) in County Galway; the reason this project has not been sanctioned to date; if she will give details of the project to be sanctioned; the date on which sanction will be granted; the amount of money being made available in this regard; when construction will commence; and if she will make a statement on the matter. My Department has approved, in principle, the provision of a permanent extension for the school in question.

This extension is currently at stage 4, detail design, of architectural planning.

The commencement of the project is dependant on the successful completion of architectural planning and available resources.
