207 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for the Environment the current position regarding an application by Galway County Council for improvement works at the Roundstone water supply scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22297/96]
Last month my Department invited each county council to prioritise two suitable projects for inclusion under the 1997 small water and sewerage schemes programme. A proposal for improvement works on the Roundstone water supply scheme was recently received from Galway County Council under this programme and this is being examined at present.
