Ceist:

144 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Health the number of applications for house improvements under the scheme for the elderly which have been received and not yet been approved in each health board area; the average waiting time between an application being made and approval issuing; and the time between approval issuing and the work being carried out; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Limerick East): Statistics in relation to this scheme are collated by the Department of the Environment which funds the scheme and has overall responsibility for its operation. They inform me that they do not have the information requested by the Deputy.

I propose to contact each health board to request the information and will contact the Deputy with the information as soon as possible.
