161 Mr. Martin asked the Minister for Education the consideration, if any, she has given to the staffing implications for her Department in the proposed transfer of the pension service for vocational teachers to her Department; the staffing implications, if any, of the proposed teacher early retirement package; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The matters to which the Deputy refers are still the subject of ongoing discussions between my Department, the Department of the Environment and the teacher unions. The staffing implications of any such developments are under consideration by my Department.
