My Department accepts that a number of improvement works are required at Scoil Náisiúnta, Loch an Iuir, County Donegal. The current position is that the works proposed can only be considered in the light of existing contractual commitments and the funding to be made available in 1997. I wish to assure the Deputy that the needs of this school will be considered when the next capital programme is being determined.
