Written Answers. - Pesticide Residue Tests.
I have recently published summary results of the analysis of samples of raw agricultural produce for pesticide residue levels for the six year period 1990-5. A very detailed report on all tests carried out in 1994 and 1995 has been made available to interested parties and copies have also been placed in the Oireachtas Library. The 1996 detailed report will be placed in the Dáil Library when completed. A reader-friendly report for the years 1994, 1995 and 1996 is in preparation and I hope to have it published early next year.
I will, in future, be publishing on a quarterly basis pesticide residue test results.
