I propose to take Questions Nos. 55 and 135 together.

The amount of milk quota available under the third stage of this year's temporary leasing scheme will not be known until after the final date for completion of transactions which is 31 December 1996. However, while precise figures are not available, indications at present are that the recently introduced clawback arrangements are having a positive effect on the volume of quota available.
