70 Ms M. Fox asked the Minister for Education, further to her reply to Question No. 216 of 26 November 1996, when the review of post-primary school needs commenced; the length of time the review will take; and when the results of this review will be made available. [23598/96]

The review referred to by the Deputy commenced on 22 November last and I expect it will be completed in January 1997.

A report on the outcome of the review, with recommendations, will be submitted to me shortly afterwards and I will then be in a position to come to a decision in the matter.
