I have no plans at present to provide funding for development works at Kells Pier.

Ceist:124 Mr. O'Donoghue asked the Minister for the Marine whether he will allocate funds to refurbish Renard Pier, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24873/96]
The repair and refurbishment of Renard Pier is a matter for Kerry County Council. I have no proposals to invest in Renard at this point.

Ceist:125 Mr. O'Donoghue asked the Minister for the Marine whether he will make funds available to provide a landing place or pier at Cromane, Killorglin, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24879/96]
My Department is currently undertaking a study of the requirement for landing facilities at Cromane. When the study is complete the findings will be discussed with Kerry County Council and local interests. I will consider the matter further at that point.
