48 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Health the total cost to the Exchequer arising out of the use of air transport for all foreign and internal flights by him and the people accompanying him for each of the years 1980 and 1990; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24753/96]
Limerick East): The cost of air transport services provided by the Air Corps on behalf of the then Minister for Health, and accompanying officials, in 1980 and 1990 is a matter for the Department of Defence.
The cost of commercial flights made by the then Minister for Health and accompanying officials in 1980 and 1990 has not been calculated due to the inordinate amount of time and resources which would be required to compile the information requested.
