58 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform the consideration, if any, he has given for specific legislation to deal with difficulties which may arise where a marriage has been annulled by the courts; his understanding of such difficulties; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As indicated in reply to a number of previous questions in the House, I am giving consideration to legislative proposals for reform of certain aspects of the law of nullity. In particular, I am examining the financial consequences for the parties concerned. With regard to the difficulties referred to in the Deputy's question, I have nothing to add to my reply to the Deputy's previous question of 6 December 1995.
