171 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Health when the post of full time paediatrician will be advertised by the local appointments commission for Longford Westmeath General Hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1445/97]
Limerick East): I have been informed by the Midland Health Board that the post referred to by the Deputy is currently filled on a temporary basis.
The Local Appointments Commission has indicated that it expects to advertise the competition to seek to fill this post on a permanent basis shortly.
