Ceist:

139 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Education the progress, if any, made on an application from Cumann Báire Setanta, GAA club for a site for a clubhouse on her Department's land close to Ballymun Library, Dublin 11; and if the application is being processed in view of the fact plans to amalgamate the comprehensive schools have been dropped and Dublin City University no longer requires the site. I am aware that an application has been submitted from Cumann Báire Setanta, GAA club to acquire a site for a clubhouse close to Ballymun Library, Dublin 11. The current position is that this application is under active consideration by officials in my Department. Once a decision has been reached, my Department will be in contact with the GAA club.
