Vol. 474 No. 1

Written Answers. - Disabilities Report.

Mary Wallace

Ceist:

93 Miss M. Wallace asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform if the Government intends to treat the five recommendations of the Commission on the Status of People with Disabilities specifically referred to by the commission as requiring immediate attention as part of its overall response to the commission. [2590/97]

The recommendations referred to by the commission as requiring immediate attention will be examined in the overall context of the consideration to be given to the commission's recommendations by the interdepartmental task force. When the task force has drawn up its plan of action arising from the commission's report, I will bring it to Government for consideration by my colleagues.
