41 Mrs. O'Rourke asked the Minister for Finance when a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11 will be put on a PAYE tax arrangement; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that this person has been paying emergency tax for a long time; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3436/97]

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that a certificate granting tax-free allowances of £66.35 per week, and placing the taxpayer on Table A, will issue shortly. The taxpayer's employer will pay any refund due to the taxpayer.
