112 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Finance the number of permanent staff in his Department and each State agency under the aegis of his Department; the number of temporary staff; the number of staff on contract; and if Government staffing embargo guidelines are adhered to in his Department and each State agency in this regard. [4521/97]
The numbers of staff in the Department of Finance and each State Agency under its aegis are shown in the following table. I am confident that the numbers target determined by the Government for 1 July 1997, will be achieved on schedule.
