Ceist:

160 Mr. Briscoe asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht if the Office of Public Works has conducted investigations or surveys at a residence (details supplied) in Dublin 7 to ascertain the causes of the chronic dampness at the house; the measures, if any, they have or plan to take to remedy this situation; and the timetable of works planned. The National Monuments and Historic Properties Service (NMHPS) of my Department have carried out an architectural report on the condition of this lodge. The report advises that certain remedial works be carried out on the premises. I have arranged that such works including installation of new windows and repair of plasterwork will be done. As necessary, further works will be undertaken.
