Vol. 475 No. 5

Written Answers - Roads Funding.

Godfrey Timmins

Ceist:

25 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Education if she will provide moneys for a proper access road to Tallow national school, County Waterford, where there is a major access problem for pupils and parents and as the road should have been provided when the school was built 16 years ago; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [23082/96]

My Department has no record of an application from the school for assistance with the cost of a new access road. In any event, the works in question would appear to be outside the school boundary and, therefore, a matter for the local authority.
