Ceist:78 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Education the current position regarding the proposed extension to De La Salle College, Dundalk, County Louth; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [2001/97]
Written Answers - Schools Building Projects.
My Department has approved in principle the provision of a permanent extension at De La Salle College, Dundalk. Architectural planning of this project has proceeded satisfactorily to date.
The project is currently at Stage 5, that is bills of quantity, of the architectural planning process. A number of general queries have arisen regarding the Stage 5 submission and these have been forwarded to the school authority.
While an interim reply has been received, a full report is awaited.
