Ceist:241 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will have arrangements made to pay a hardship grant and a higher rate of reactor grant to a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [6163/97]
Written Answers. - Grant Payments.
A hardship grant payment of £400 due to this herdowner for the two month period 16 December 1996 to 15 February 1997 will issue to him shortly.
A supplementary payment of £400 will also issue to this herdowner shortly in respect of the difference between the lower rate already paid and the higher rate which should have been paid on two reactor animals disclosed in a herd test in late November 1996.
