Ceist:

94 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for Education the number of civil servants, by grade, employed in her own office, including her constituency office, and in the offices of her Minister(s) of State; and the number and titles of any non-civil servants in each of these offices. [7266/97]

The information relating to the staffing of my own office, including my constituency office, and the offices of my Ministers of State are as follows:

Office of Minister for Education, Niamh Bhreathnach T.D.

12½ Civil Servants (wholetime equivalent posts): One higher executive officer, two executive officers, one staff officer, four clerical officers, one and a half clerical assistants and three clerical assistant-typists.

Five Non-Civil Servants: One programme manager, one special adviser, one press officer, one personal assistant and one personal secretary.

Office of Minister of State, Bernard Allen, T.D.

Eight and a half Civil Servants (wholetime equivalent posts): One higher executive officer, one executive officer, one staff officer, one clerical officer and two clerical assistant-typists.

Three Non-Civil Servants: One special adviser, one personal secretary and one personal assistant.

Office of Minister of State, Austin Currie, T.D.

Three Civil Servants: One higher executive officer, one executive officer and one clerical assistant.
