Ceist:138 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will allow a person (details supplied) to have a private blood test carried out on three animals. [7322/97]
Written Answers. - Animal Blood Test.
The herd of the person in question is scheduled for an annual herd test in the first phase of testing to be completed by 11 May 1997, and it is a matter now for this person to arrange for a private practitioner to undertake the test. In these circumstances permission for a private test of a limited number of animals cannot be granted.
