300 Mr. B. Smith asked the Minister for Education the current position regarding the provision of a second level school in Kingscourt, County Cavan; when this project will proceed to the next stage of planning; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [8358/97]
As the Deputy is aware, the planning section of my Department has been carrying out a review of the need for the provision of a second level school in Kingscourt, County Cavan.
This review is now completed and a report is being prepared in the matter. When the report is finalised and available to me, I will be in a position to consider the matter fully.
