427 Mr. B. Ahern asked the Minister for the Marine the EU funding received by his Department in 1996; the funding which he expects to receive in 1997; and the relevant funds and budget lines under which such funding is received. [8027/97]
Information requested by the Deputy regarding EU funding received by the Department of the Marine is supplied in the following tabular statement.
I understand that the Minister for Finance will be making a return in relation to European Regional Development Fund and cohesion funding and that the Minister for Enterprise and Employment will provide details on ESF funding given their respective lead roles in relation to those areas.
