Given the high level of commitments under the water and sewerage programme, I cannot indicate when it may be possible to approve this scheme.

My Department has recently requested Cork County Council to prepare contract documents for site investigations in connection with this scheme. The scheme has been included in the water and sewerage services work programme for 1997, to be advanced through the planning and design stages.
