Vol. 477 No. 2

Written Answers - Hospital Treatment.

Ned O'Keeffe

Ceist:

90 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Health if he will have arrangements made for a person (details supplied) in County Cork to be admitted to Cork University Hospital for a hip replacement operation; and if his attention has been drawn to the fact that she is in very poor health. [8959/97]

Limerick East): As the determination of in-patient appointments is a matter for the hospital authorities in the first instance, I have asked the general manager of Cork University and Associated Hospitals to investigate the position regarding this patient. Given the particular circumstances of this case, I have requested that he reply to the Deputy directly as a matter of urgency.
