Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Flaherty — the application from Dublin City University for funding towards the cost of developing sports facilities on the St. Clare lands; (2) Deputy Ó Cuív — an gá atá ann go gcuirfear seomra breise le Scoil Náisúnta na Tulaí i mBaile na hAbhann, Connemara, in ionad an tseomra réamhdhéanta atá ann agus a bhfuil fíor-dhroch-chaoi air; (3) Deputy Hugh Byrne — the necessity for an extension to Bridgetown Vocational Education College, County Wexford; (4) Deputy Lawlor — the urgent need to relocate the waste-to-energy incinerator away from the concentration of high technology industries in Dublin 15 to a more suitable location where there is no threat to such key employment sectors; (5) Deputy Joe Walsh — the provision of adequate patrol vessels to provide for the safety of fishermen off the south west coast; (6) Deputy Briscoe — the need for improvements in bus services in the Dublin South-Central area; (7) Deputy Cowen — the need to outline the contingency plans in place if a dispute goes ahead involving 90 Dublin ambulance drivers and 520 provincial ambulance personnel; (8) Deputy O'Rourke — the progress made to introduce a White Paper on Training and Human Resources and the implications of this White Paper; (9) Deputy Séamus Brennan — the need to ensure the maximum benefit flows to the Irish economy from the current drilling off the west coast; (10) Deputy Ellis — the problems being experienced by workers at A.S. Richardson, Sawmill, Newtowngore, County Leitrim, because of short-time working.

The matters raised by Deputies Cowen, O'Rourke, Ellis and Seamus Brennan have been selected for discussion.
