51 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Health whether the annual figure of £500 for continuing medical education, which is payable to all public health doctors on a health board by health board basis as per his October 1994 memorandum of agreement on revised arrangements for public health medicine and community care medical services, is a supplement to the existing support from health boards. Limerick East): In line with the memorandum of agreement on revised arrangements for public health medicine and community care medical services the annual figure of £500 made available for approved continuing medical education activities to each doctor is a supplement to the existing continuing medical education support from health boards.
