38 Mr. Callely asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs the number of approved over-flights of the State by foreign military aircraft over the past 12 months; the number of reported unapproved flights; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11514/97]
Due to resource constraints it is not possible, in the time available, to compile the number of over-flights of the State by foreign military aircraft over the past 12 months. However, I will forward the complete details of the number of over-flights to the Deputy within the next ten days. All over-flights of the State by foreign military aircraft over the past 12 months took place in conformity with the rules and regulations relating to such overflights as laid down by my Department.
