Limerick East): As part of a general review of medical manpower and postgraduate training, it is my intention to carry out a review of the roles of the Postgraduate Medical and Dental Board and of Comhairle na nOspidéal. I believe that there is scope to strengthen the links between the two bodies and to make their works more relevant to the resolution of current and prospective problems affecting hospital services and their medical staffing.
