Written Answers - Semi-State Bodies.
The information sought by the Deputy is contained in my replies to Parliamentary Question No. 36 of 12 March 1997 and Parliamentary Question No. 69 of 5 March 1997. The following changes should be noted.
The Law Reform Commission consists of a president and four commissioners appointed by the Government. The current membership comprises Mr. Justice Anthony Hederman, President, appointed in 1992 and whose term expires in October of this year, and the four commissioners appointed on 15 April 1997. They are: Mr. Arthur Plunkett: Ms Hilary Anna Delany; Ms Patricia Rickard Clarke; and the Right Honourable Dr. Turlough O'Donnell, QC.
Mr Bill Farrell is no longer on the board of Area Development Management Ltd. Mr. Seanie Lambe, Ms Vourneen O'Mahoney and Mr. John Joe Dunne have been appointed to the board and were nominated by Dublin partnerships, other urban partnerships and Irish Rural Link respectively.The one remaining vacancy will be filled shortly.
