Written Answers. - Departmental Expenditure.
With regard to the information sought by the Deputy in relation to the amount of capital moneys expended by my Department in each county in each of the years 1994 to 1997, it is not possible to collate the information required in the limited time available. However, I refer the Deputy to my reply to Question No. 277 of 25 July 1996 which provided information for the period 1 January 1994 to 30 June 1996. I will provide the Deputy with full-year figures for 1996 and expenditure to the end of April 1997 as soon as possible.

I am satisfied that any commitments given to date which are likely to mature in 1997 can be met from funds already at my disposal.
