I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this dealing refers to an application under section 49, i.e. acquisition of title by virtue of long possession, of the Registration of Titles Act, 1964 which was lodged on 18 September 1995. I understand that due to their complicated nature, applications under section 49 take some time to process and it is not possible to estimate a completion time at this stage.

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that the reference number quoted by the Deputy relates to this case when it was originally lodged in 1994. It was abandoned on 6 July 1996 and relodged on 1 October 1996. The new dealing number is D96CK11257W and it is expected that it will be completed within one week.
