148 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for the Environment the persons appointed by him to boards under the aegis of his Department since January 1995; and the number of vacancies currently remaining to be filled or due to fall vacant in the near future. [12681/97]
The replies to Question No. 137 of 5 March 1997 and Question No. 200 of 25 March 1997 contained information on all appointments made up to that date. Since then, the following appointments have been made:-

Five vacancies remain to be filled in a number of bodies, mainly as a result of resignations. No other vacancies are due to arise in the near future.
