Written Answers. - Tax Allowances.
I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the taxpayer's tax-free allowances for the current year 1997-98 are based on the return of income form which the taxpayer's agent sent to the Inspector of Taxes on her behalf.
The inspector has asked the taxpayer to send in her form P60 for the year 1996-97. As soon as she does so, the inspector will review her tax liability for 1996-97 and make any refund which may be due.
