Ceist:

191 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Health the number of nurses who were interviewed for permanent posts by the Southern Health Board during the most recent competition; the number placed on a panel; and the number to be recruited during the course of this panel. [13936/97]

The most recent nursing competitions conducted by the Southern Health Board have been in respect of specialised nursing, i.e., intensive care and the operating theatre at Cork University Hospital, as follows:

December 1996

Interviews have been conducted for the competition for the post of staff nurse, general cardiac, intensive care unit at Cork University Hospital.
