274 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Social Welfare the appointments to State boards made in his Department between 18 November 1994 and 15 December 1994; the date on which these appointments received ministerial sanction; and the date on which the positions to which the appointments were made became vacant. [13943/97]
The statutory agencies operating under the aegis of my Department are the Combat Poverty Agency, the Pensions Board and the National Social Service Board.
No appointments were made to the Combat Poverty Agency or the Pensions Board between the dates specified.
The National Social Services Board was not attached to the Department of Social Welfare in 1994 but I can confirm that no appointments were made to that board between 18 November 1994 and 15 December 1994.
