Written Answers - Schools Building Projects.
Officials of the post-primary building unit of my Department have examined the stage I documentation — site suitability and report — which was submitted by the school's design team as part of the architectural planning process for the facilities at Clonaslee vocational school.
As this submission was found to be in order, a planning and briefing meeting was held on 17 June 1997. As a result of this meeting, a revised schedule of accommodation was agreed and the project has now reached stage II of the Department's design team procedures.
It is not possible to say at this stage when building will commence.
