Ceist:206 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Finance whether a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary is in receipt of her correct tax free allowance; and the rebate of income tax, if any, is due to her. [14477/97]
Written Answers - Tax Free Allowances.
I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that, on the basis of information available, the taxpayer has been granted the correct tax-free allowances. A review of her income tax liability for 1996-97 shows an underpayment of £45.52. The Inspector of Taxes does not intend to pursue collection of this amount.
