235 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation the reason the £15,000 grant allocated to Midleton GAA Club, County Cork, by the previous Government on 15 May 1997, has not been paid; the outstanding paperwork, if any, which is required; and when the payment will be made after any outstanding paperwork is completed. Midleton GAA Club was allocated a grant of £15,000 under the recreational facilities scheme in May 1997. Payment of the grant is subject to the club providing confirmation, part of which was supplied in August 1997, that the development complies with the terms and conditions of the scheme. However, some essential documentation in this regard is still outstanding, and final payment is pending submission of same. A recent reminder issued from my Department to the club in the matter.
