136 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has made a decision on whether he is giving a remote area grant towards the cost of private transport arrangements for eligible pupils from Little Island, Co. Cork. [16641/97]
My Department has sought details of the pupils concerned from the transport liaison officer for County Cork. I would like to assure the Deputy that, when the information has been received and considered by my Department, a decision will be made and the families will be advised immediately of the outcome.
